Tank Installation

Attenuation and storage tanks, pump stations and interceptors — excavated, bedded, surrounded, connected and commissioned.

Overview

Below-ground plant, installed once

A buried tank is not something you want to go back to. Getting it right means the excavation, the bedding, the concrete surround and the connections all treated as one operation, with the manufacturer’s installation requirements followed rather than approximated.

We handle the lot, including the deep excavation and temporary support that the tank depth usually needs, and commission it before backfill closes the job out.

If yours is not here, call the office — you will get a straight answer, not a callback form.

Either. Plenty of clients have already specified and ordered the unit, in which case we install to the manufacturer’s detail. If you would rather we supplied it, we will price it with the installation.

As deep as the design needs. Depth is a temporary works question rather than a limit — the support is designed and checked before we dig.

Where groundwater is present we plan dewatering as part of the works. It is much cheaper to allow for it up front than to discover it with an open hole on site.

Yes. Connections are tested and the system commissioned while everything is still accessible, before backfill closes it out.

Yes, and we will reinstate over it. Cover depth and load class over the tank are set by the manufacturer’s detail and the surfacing specification, and we build to both.
